I finally feel like I actually understand what to look for during observations. The detailed descriptions for each dimension make it so much easier to tell effective interactions apart, especially for the older grades in the Pre-K–3rd range.
The dimension-by-dimension descriptions are what sold me — I can read through one section the night before an observation instead of skimming the whole book. Having the Pre-K through 3rd grade range covered in a single guide means I'm not juggling two separate resources anymore.
