The pause button is a lifesaver with my impatient five-year-old—she can line up a whole route before hitting go. We've spent entire afternoons planning paths across the living room floor.

My four-year-old figured out the forward and turn buttons within ten minutes and now builds little obstacle courses for it across the kitchen. The sequencing cards that come in the pack are what really sold me, since she lines them up before pressing anything.

We've been planning routes on the floor mats for hours and my daughter still isn't bored of it. The sequencing cards make it easy to set up little challenges, and she's learning to think ahead without realizing it.
