The 1000-inch length means we've been using this roll for weeks and barely made a dent in it. My kids drag it out for painting and drawing almost daily, and the paper holds up well without tearing.
The 36-inch width is perfect for taping up a long sheet so both my kids can paint side by side without fighting over space. A full 1000-inch roll means we've barely made a dent after weeks of drawing and craft projects.
Bought this for our playroom wall and my kids have been drawing on it nonstop. The 36-inch width is wide enough that two of them can paint side by side without arguing over space. It's just plain natural-colored paper, which is exactly what I wanted.
