Speelhuis Kubus

My two-year-old claimed this as her reading nook the day it arrived, and the solid sides actually block out enough light for her to settle down. The birch plywood feels sturdy but not heavy, so I can slide it around the living room myself.

My daughter calls it her "quiet cave" and disappears into it with a stack of books most afternoons. The three circular windows let just enough light in without making it feel exposed, and the birch plywood has held up fine through daily use.

The circular openings are the best part—my son pokes his head through them like a little owl. Lightweight enough that I can slide it from the living room to his bedroom without help. The birch has a slight smell out of the box, but it faded after a few days.
