The cushioned top on the 17-inch surface is surprisingly comfy for how much my son wiggles on it during homework. He's had it a month and the rocker base still feels sturdy, plus the stackable discs make it easy to tuck away.

Bought two of these for my kids' desks and they haven't tipped over once, even with all the rocking. The rocker base gives just enough movement to keep them focused, and I love that the discs stack when we need to clear the floor.

My kid actually sits through homework now, tipping and wobbling on the rocker base the whole time. The cushioned top is thick enough that she doesn't complain about it, and I love that the cylinders stack out of the way when we're not using them.
