Four feet ten inches is the perfect length for our living room floor, and my two-year-old can actually walk the whole beam without getting bored. It’s sturdy enough that she’s never wobbled once, even when she tries to hop off mid-step. We’ve used it every morning since it arrived.

My three-year-old uses this beam as a balance path between her toy blocks and she keeps going back to it. At just under five feet long, it gives her enough room to practice without taking over the whole playroom, and it feels solid enough that I don't worry about it tipping.

My two-year-old wobbles less every day on this, and the firm surface gives me real peace of mind while she steps across. At 4'10", it's a solid little course for indoor play without taking over the living room.
