Sturdier than I expected for a play piece—at 142 lbs it doesn't budge when the kids lean on it to pet the cat. The sliding parts are smooth enough that even my three-year-old can work the mouse and cricket herself.

The sliding parts are what sold me—my two-year-old can push the little door open herself to "feed" the mouse, and she does it over and over. At 48 inches tall it's a good height for toddlers without tipping, and honestly it's built like a tank at 142 lbs.

My kids spend way more time with this than I expected, especially sliding the little pieces to reach the cat and frog. At 48 inches it's a good height for my 3 and 5 year olds, and the 142 lb frame hasn't budged even when they both lean on it.
