The wooden slices make a satisfying little thunk when my daughter drops them in, and the pop-up lever actually works so she keeps re-toasting them over and over. It's held up fine through a few weeks of toddler play, and the wood feels solid rather than flimsy.

My 2-year-old figured out the pop-up lever on day one and now makes toast for everyone in the house. It's simple, sturdy wood with no batteries or noise, which I appreciate more than she does.

The wooden toaster has held up through daily play with my 18-month-old, who loves pushing the lever down and watching the toast pop back up. It's a simple toy but the wooden build feels solid and it's become a fixture in our pretend kitchen.
