The natural boar bristles held up through a full afternoon of preschool painting without a single stray shedding, which impressed me since my kids tend to be rough with supplies. The mix of rounded and flat tips gave us plenty of options for both big swaths of color and finer details.
My toddler’s paint sessions got way more fun once we switched to these—the natural white boar bristles hold paint nicely and the flat tips make clean stripes, while the rounded ones are perfect for dots. They’ve survived a few aggressive washes, too, which is saying a lot for preschool art supplies.
The boar bristles are sturdy enough for my kindergartner’s aggressive painting, yet soft on paper. I love that the set includes both flat and round tips, so she can experiment with different strokes without me having to buy separate packs.
