My kids use this daily and the surface mount option worked perfectly over our old concrete patio. At 90 pounds it's solid enough that I don't worry about it shifting, and the 14'x17' footprint gives them plenty of room to practice. The color we picked blends nicely with the backyard too.

Setup took maybe two hours with a friend, but now it’s flush with our patio and the kids use it every single day. The surface mount option worked perfectly over our existing concrete, and at 90 pounds it hasn’t budged an inch even with my 6-year-old doing jumps on it.

My daughter is only 3 but she’s already got the confidence to walk it without holding my hand, and the surface mount was simple to bolt down on our patio. It’s heavy enough that it doesn’t shift at all when she steps, which is exactly what I worried about.
