The curriculum and interaction subscales are laid out so clearly that our bilingual staff can score a classroom without second-guessing each item. Having the full scale in Spanish finally lets our native-speaking teachers do self-assessments in their own language instead of translating on the fly.
The Spanish translation is clear and accurate, which matters a lot when rating with staff whose first language isn't English. The curriculum and interaction subscales are laid out exactly as I remember from training, so scoring feels consistent.
The spiral binding makes it easy to flip through during an actual observation without the pages closing on me. I've used it for our toddler room assessments and the curriculum and interaction subscales are laid out clearly enough to score quickly.
