Having the Reference Manual and the Observation Field Guide as separate printed books makes juggling them during a live observation way easier than a single binder ever did. The score sheet booklets being a five-pack is handy too, since I burn through them fast with back-to-back cycles.
The five-score-sheet booklet pack alone saves me from photocopying before every observation cycle. Field guide fits in my back pocket during classroom visits, and the spiral binding on the reference manual actually lies flat when I'm jotting notes.
